Bride Comes to Fiancé’s Home before Wedding, Finds Her Wedding Dress Cut ‘Into a Million Pieces’

After a woman’s wedding day was ruined by her soon-to-be mother-in-law, she did not know how to react when the older woman seemed to be doing better in life and had stopped talking to her.

The woman’s husband’s grandmother asked to be included in the wedding planning, and when she was, she was silent throughout. The woman asked her parents-in-law if she could store her wedding dress at their house despite that.

Her father-in-law readily agreed, with her mother-in-law never saying much about the situation. However, one day, the woman got a phone call from her father-in-law, which she thought was a joke.

Sadly, what she thought was a situation that would be easily remedied turned into something that would ultimately ruin her wedding. She did not know how to process the problem when she learned about it.

A few days before the woman’s wedding, her father-in-law phoned her to tell her that her mother-in-law had cut her dress into “a million pieces.” She lamented:

When the woman thought about it, she didn’t think her mother-in-law could be that evil and thought the dress would be easily fixable. She drove over to her mother-in-law’s house to assess the situation.

Although the woman did not speak to her mother-in-law, she occasionally saw her at family events and heard she was in intensive therapy for a long time. She also discovered that her mother-in-law had gotten engaged and that her ring was beautiful and the man perfect for her.

Many people told the woman that it wasn’t her mother-in-law’s fault and that she was sick then. However, the woman had reached the point where she no longer cared to hear the excuses.
