Shocking video footage captured the moment two cars jostled to keep the lead on the highway before one of the vehicles lost control and crashed into a cliffside.
A Honda Accord was seen aggressively trying to overtake a Ford F-150 Raptor which refused to let them in, on the Palisades Parkway in New Jersey.
Eventually the Honda attempted to undertake and squeeze between two vehicles driving at the same speed on the two-way highway, before they lost control and veered off the road.
The car immediately flipped over after crashing into the cliffside which runs along the roadside.
The motorist who filmed the incident, whose username is Racerwong.Shooterwong on YouTube, told DailyMail.com that Palisades Parkway Police confirmed that the driver was ‘okay’ but it is unclear if either of the vehicles involved will receive any charges.

The Accord was then seen crashing into a cliffside after attempting to get ahead of the Raptor before losing control of the vehicle
The footage began with the Accord attempting to merge over into the left lane of the highway as the Raptor refused to budge.
The video poster began recording the footage as he noticed a speed trap ahead and wanted to get some ‘police karma.’
The Accord nearly hit into the video poster after attempting to get over into the lane twice.
‘This Accord nearly sideswipes me, then decides to play chicken with the Raptor almost hitting him,’ the driver wrote in the video description. ‘I guess that p*sses the Raptor off and that’s when video starts.’
The Accord then decides to hack it out with the Raptor as he continues to block him on the road.

In an attempt to get around the Raptor, the Accord drove over to the shoulder
The driver then lost control after almost hitting a pickup truck and crashed into the cliffside
The driver of the Accord was reported to be ‘ok’ by the Palisades Parkway Police
Eventually, the video poster lets the Accord into his lane as he continues to record the action in front of him.
The Raptor then slows down as the Accord make its way over only ensuing the spat further.
The Accord then drives around the Raptor as well as the vehicle in the right lane to use the shoulder of the highway to get over.
The vehicle then manages to hit a pickup truck before losing control of the vehicle completely and crashed into the cliffside.
Following the incident, the video poster reported that he spoke with the parkway police of the crash.
The police later informed him that the driver is ‘ok’. The status of the Raptor driver currently remains unclear.
