A Republican, he served two terms between 2001 – 2009.

He was the nation’s 43rd president.

He was succeeded by Barack Obama.

Since leaving office, he’s taken up painting, often paying tribute to the country’s military veterans in his work.

He also campaigned for his brother Jeb Bush during the 2016 Republican presidential primaries.

His father, 41st President George H. W. Bush, used to be the longest-living US president until his death in 2018 at the age of 94.

Donald Trump was the 45th President of the US.

He served one term between 2017 – 2021.

He was succeeded by Joe Biden.

Since leaving office, he announced his 2024 campaign for re-election in November 2022.

He is also facing some legal battles over classified documents and his alleged involvement in the January 6, 2021, US Capitol riots, often referred to as the January 6 Insurrection.

Trump, born on June 14, 1946, is currently 77 years old.

Candidates for president of the United States must meet some basic requirements, including an age minimum.

Presidents must be at least 35 years old.

The U.S. Constitution also states that the president must be a natural-born citizen of the US.

According to USA.gov, as long as a candidate meets these three requirements, they can officially “declare their candidacy for president.”
