The US is gearing up for one of the most important presidential elections in the country’s history.

On November 5, Joe Biden will face the presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump in a presidential election that will have global ramifications.

The US is the world’s pre-eminent superpower and the winner of this year’s White House race will influence everything from Nato’s future and the security of Europe to global trade and the effort to halt damaging climate change.
