Jesse Lingard is a doubt for FC Seoul’s clash against Gangwon on Sunday after suffering a minor knee injury.
The former Manchester United attacker was in line to make his first start in Korea since his shock move to Asia in February this weekend.
However, Mail Sport understands the 31-year-old has sustained a meniscus issue that is putting his participation at risk.
Lingard helped record FC Seoul’s first win of the season prior to the international break, coming on for the final 32 minutes of a 2-0 win of Jeju United.

But it now remains to be seen whether he can continue his progress on Sunday amid injury concerns.
The niggle is not said to be a serious problem, but it may be that FC Seoul medics decide to rest Lingard for a fortnight to ensure the injury does not worsen.
Lingard made his shock move to the South Korean side at the start of the year after weighing up options available to him as a free agent.
The former England international signed a two-year contract with the club after rejecting proposals from a host of European sides.
